My early Baptist (17th century) ancestor in Rhode Island oft took a lashing or prison from the Puritans in Massachusetts for his preaching (when he so dared to journey there.) As the article says, most interaction this day was respectful and polite. As my grand-ma used to say &quot;being judgmental of the judgmental is still judgmental.&quot;</description>

		<description>I admit, things haven&#039;t changed much in America... no one can come out of the closet in any sense of the word whether it&#039;s religion or sexuality without the Christians (who seem to think they own the country) freaking out. Perhaps they should just claim Texas as their country and be done with it.</description>
