Palace of Depression.

Vineland, NJ: Vintage postcard image gives a hint of what the "Palace Depression" was like in its peak years (the name was later popularized as Palace of Depression, which is also how it appeared on some post cards). If you look on the left side of the building, you can see a George Daynor doppelganger waving from a ledge. Source material like this was used for the reconstructed design and floorplan for the new Palace. It drove the restorers nuts, because this image is actually a distorted composite of three images from three different angles!
