Our small property offers you many of the amenities of the bigger franchises in the area, but at a better rate. Free high-spee wireless internet access in all rooms, complimentary continental breakfast, coffee service all day, color and cable tv, free local phone calls, outdoor heated swimming pool, an authentic Finnish sauna, and individual heat and air conditioning all help make your stay with us enjoyable. We offer plenty of ample parking, some at door. Our property is minutes from fine dining, MTU and FU campuses, 18 hole golf, nordic and alpine skiing, and boat launches. We are conveniently located on a DNR recreational trail for biking or walking in summer and snowmobile trail access in the winter. From Houghton County Memorial Airport: Take US Hwy 41 South through Hancock and the Michigan Technological University campus. Budget Host Inn is 1.5 miles south of the campus on the right side. Approximately 11 miles from the Houghton County Memorial Airport.
