Located in the heartland of the South, it is within easy reach of historical sites such as The Jimmy Carter Historic Site, and Andersonville Historic Prison, as well as in close proximity to the towns of Perry, Americus, Plains and Macon. A wonderful stop for those that travel between Florida and the north. 3 spacious rooms, each with their own private bathroom, are located in this lovely 1898 Victorian Home, which has been lovingly restored. Each morning, enjoy a full breakfast, with candle-lit dinners, light or packed lunches and high-tea available on request and with prior arrangement. Travelers Rest Bed and Breakfast is a pet-friendly location, and for the health and safety of all our guests, no smoking is allowed in any indoor area. Wireless internet available for those traveling with wireless-enabled laptops. The brand new carriage house is set away from the main house, and is self contained and os seating area, mini kitchen with coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom offers a step-in shower for easy access.

Directions
Bordering on the old town, located 6 houses Dairy Queen in the residential district. -- Directions -- Heading southbound on I-75, take a right off exit 149, Byron-Fort Valley. Follow and stay on Highway 49 towards Montezuma approx 33 miles . As you enter into Montezuma, Highway 49 becomes Dooly Street - you will see a statue and small water tower on your right hand side - Travelers Rest Bed and Breakfast is diagonally across the road on the left.
