 Quirky Tourist Attractions in or near CaliforniaWhile in California, you might enjoy a visit to: It's a train ride combined with a freaky, gravity-defying Mystery Spot. Constructed from three redwood tree trunks moved to Ukiah from a grove in 1936. Gas no longer served, but the old pumps are still in place. This dual attraction combines a "room" in the trunk of a still-living Redwood with a concrete-statue-and-hidden-speaker homage to the properties of J.R.R. Tolkien. The 36-hole course may be the Birthplace of Odd Golf Sculpture. |
