Start your day by waking up to the mouth watering aroma of fresh made Belgian waffles. Our newly expanded Super 8 is nestled close to the Ohio River at the intersection of SR 7 and US 35. We offer high speed wireless internet and our new Business Class Tower rooms are equipped with iron and ironing boards, microfridges, plus some are available as connecting rooms for a little extra privacy. No matter the weather, you can still relax in our indoor pool and whirlpool or de-stress in our fitness room. You have a choice of one or two queen sized beds, and all rooms are equipped with hair dryers and coffee makers, but if you would like to be pampered, reserve one of our king bed whirlpool or balcony suites. Just a short drive away, going west on US 35 in Rio Grande is Bob Evans Farm and Homestead Museum. Rio Grande is home of the Bob Evans Farm Festival every October, and the University of Rio Grande. A Halloween treat, The Corn Maze with haunted trails are sure to scare anyone that enters plus it also offers something for every age. Our famous neighbors across the Ohio River in Point Pleasant, WV, offer unique museums, the Mothman and a waterfront amphitheater that hosts several musical events. Interested in the Civil War, Lord Dunsmoor or Chief Cornstalk? The walls murals are a site to behold that is rich with our French and Native American history. Just off SR 7 tucked in along the Ohio River Scenic Byway is Pomeroy, home of the only three floor courthouse with three ground floor entrances. Pomeroy plays host to the Big Bend Blues Bash and the Annual Goldwings and Ribs Festival. The nearby Wayne National Forest offers trails, hiking and four-wheeler riding trails. Here at home water sports, fishing and hunting is commonplace all year long. The July 4th River Rec and the Chili Fest are just a couple events held in the city park throughout the year.
