Overlooking the famous Salmon River, the Little Salmon River, and their majestic canyons, Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge welcomes you with comfortable lodge-style furnishings, outstanding amenities, and warm hospitality. The lodge is located in the small town of Riggins, on US 95 in scenic central Idaho. Large log and timber structures, river rock, slate and granite are found throughout the building. The lodge features a large indoor pool, outdoor spa, a comfy leather couch in front of the fireplace and big rocking chairs in front of the two story windows - so you can relax after your day of travel and adventure. Nearby recreational opportunities include whitewater rafting, jet boating, fishing, hunting, hiking and wildlife viewing. Riggins lies between the two deepest gorges in North America, surrounded by Hells Canyon National Recreation Area to the west and the Nez Perce National Forest and Gospel Hump Wilderness Area to the east.
