Enjoy one of the world's most enchanting settings at the beautiful Keauhou Beach Resort, in historic Keauhou District on the island of Hawaii. Located 12 miles south of Kona International Airport along Kailua-Kona's stunningly scenic coastline, the hotel offers 309 beautifully upgraded guest rooms, four indoor meeting rooms with 6,900 square feet of space, a day spa, oceanview fitness room, swimming pool, six tennis courts and three large outdoor function areas. Kahaluu Beach Park, one of the best snorkeling beaches in Hawaii, is adjacent to the hotel grounds. Kalona Salon and Spa, Kailua Village Artists Gallery, Slice 11 Gift Shop located on property. Nowhere else can you wade through natural tidepools to view gentle sea creatures and stroll through lush gardens of native foliage. The 10 acre property was once part of a large ancient Hawaiian community. Here you'll find a replica of King David Kalakaua's cottage, the remains of three heiau (ancient Hawaiian temples), a canoe landing, and the Po'o Hawaii pond, sacred bathing pool once used by ancient royalty. Cultural activities, workshops and presentations are offered throughout the year. All guest rooms have been refreshed and feature brand-new carpeting, bedspreads, upholstery, lighting, bathtubs, showers and re-designed vanities. The completed corridors feature fresh new paint and carpeting, as well as attractive new artwork. The hotel's new interior decor features warm tropical woods and soothing shades of blue and green - inspired by the property's stunning ocean and garden environs. All guests receive Complimentary Daily full breakfast buffet. Self-parking is currently 7USD and 10USD for valet one car per room. Effective Jan 1 2011 the cost for self-parking will be 10USD and valet will be 15USD. Price is subject to change.
