The Garden Spa features body treatments that incorporate the elements of the historic gardens fruits, flowers, herbs, and earth. From the SFO Airport: Take 380 west to 280 north. Follow Hwy 280 (stay to your left) and take the 19th Avenue exit lane.Follow 19th Avenue as it eventually flows through Golden Gate Park and onto the Golden Gate Bridge.Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and continue North on Hwy 101. Dining is a special experience at MacArthur Place. Located in the Inn's historic barn on the estate, Saddles is the wine country's premier steakhouse specializing in steaks, chops and fresh seafood. Saddles is consistently awarded Best Steakhouse in Sonoma Valley. The extensive menu also offers a full selection of appetizers, salads, pasta, and signature side dishes big enough to share. Choose from a selection of over 16 signature martinis and a wine list featuring local wines which has been awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Some of Sonoma's additional restaurants are located 4 blocks from the hotel on the Historic Sonoma Plaza.

The Inn offers a variety of meeting space ranging from the rustic Rodeo Room in the Inn's historic barn to elegant meeting suites. Meetings can begin with a reception in the gardens, or in the library. Receptions for social events or wedding ceremonies can take place on the charming Veranda Garden or on the Veranda itself. On the hotel grounds are heated outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool. Fitness room featuring all of the latest workout equipment. Guest can enjoy chess in the garden on a life-size chess board, ping-pong at the pool, or croquet. Books, games and movies are available in the Library for guest use 24 hours a day. The selection of DVD movies in the library are complimentary for guest use in their guestrooms which are all equipped with a DVD player.
The Inn is located in the heart of the Sonoma Valley and many local vineyards are simply a short drive from the Inn. Hundreds more wineries are located in the Napa Valley, just a twenty minute drive and many more in central Sonoma County in the Russian River, Alexander, and Dry Creek Valleys. A short walk from the Inn is the historic downtown Plaza which is the largest and oldest town square of its kind int the state of California. The Plaza is now the home of fantastic shopping and dining. Other historical sites are a short drive from the Plaza which include: Jack London State Park featuring the author's former home, The General Vallejo historic home, and the last of Caliofnia Missions.
