Located directly across from the Inn is the Avalon Theatre, a 400-seat art deco theatre Headliners such as Wynton Marsalis and Vonda Shepard have graced the Avalon stage. Even though the Historic Tidewater Inn is only a short trip from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, its relaxing atmosphere seems worlds away from city life.
