Located within the Tidewater Inn are Garretts Salon and Spa and the newly opened Albrights at the Tidewater featuring women's outdoor clothing including Orvis and Barbour. Located directly across from the Inn is the Avalon Theatre, a 400-seat art deco theatre Headliners such as Wynton Marsalis and Vonda Shepard have graced the Avalon stage. Even though the Historic Tidewater Inn is only a short trip from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, its relaxing atmosphere seems worlds away from city life.
