Our classic New England Cape bed and breakfast was built in 1810, and today its historic charms blend perfectly with modern comforts. Located in the heart of Camden village, a short stroll from the picturesque harbor. Full breakfast inc. Free Wifi. There is something for everyone here in the Camden area, whether your ideal day includes lots of outdoor activities, lots of shopping, or lots of just taking it easy. If you are the outdoor type, you will find mountains and trails to hike, country roads to bike, and waters to paddle or sail. You can play golf overlooking the bay, or swim in warm lake waters or the brisk Atlantic. If you are ready to shop till you drop, the Camden area is equal to the challenge. The harborfront streets are lined with intriguing shops selling many made-in-Maine crafts as well as treasures from around the world. You will find fine clothing, one-of-a-kind jewelry, handsome home accessories, and special keepsakes to remind you of your visit. You can also buy work directly from some artisans in their studios. There are antiques shops, flea markets, and great country auctions, too. Stroll to the waterfront and watch all the boats coming and going. Hike or drive to the top of Mt. Battie for a spectacular view of the harbor, the islands, and the bay. Go to Lake Megunticook and swim in the warm water or just relax on the sandy beach with a picnic lunch. Take a ferry out to Islesboro, Vinalhaven, or North Haven island for the day. If you have a bike, take it along, the roads are perfect for cycling. Go to the Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport, or the Transportation Museum in Owls Head. And that is just the beginning. We have a lot more suggestions, and we will be happy to help you plan your adventures by foot, bike, boat, or car.
