For business or pleasure, the Sweden House Lodge is the right place for you, as it is known as the ?home away from home?. Located just 3 miles west of Interstate 90 away from the noise of the highway yet convenient to shopping malls, restaurants, gift shops and recreational facilities. The lodge is also convenient to downtown Rockford and the southeast industrial area. The hotel offers 102 guest rooms each having HBO Cable TV, direct dial telephone, individual climate control and offers an on-site ?Totally You? full service hair salon and spa evoking a ?lodge? like ambience. Other amenities include a complimentary continental breakfast, free high speed wireless Internet in lobby, renovated suites including kitchenettes, gift shop, game room, and there is no additional charge for children 18 or under when they occupy the same room as their parents. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and may be specified non-smoking or smoking upon preference. Executive suites, kitchenette suites, handicapped rooms and four meeting rooms are also available. You may also choose to relax in our large indoor heated pool. A special attraction is the cozy Stuga ?Swedish Cottage? with two separate apartments each with a living room, kitchen and bedroom. The Stuga is available by the week or month. Advance reservation is necessary. The Sweden House Lodge is located just off I-90; exit Business 20 (East State Street), then three miles west on State Street. From I-39, use Bypass 20 west exit, take Alpine Road north three miles to E. State Street. Sweden House Lodge is located one block east of Alpine Road on State Street.

Directions from Greater Rockford Airport-Take the US 20 E ramp to Belvidere for 4 miles then take the Alpine Road exit going North for 3 miles then make a right onto State St. and the Sweden House Lodge is located on immediate right corner.
Directions from O Hare International Airport-Travel 62 miles on I-90 W take the US 20 E State St Business exit travel 3 miles and the Sweden House Lodge is located on the left at the intersection of State St and Alpine Rd.
