Bolton, North Carolina - Uniroyal Gals at Grahamland
One of many attractions at Grahamland, but it does cost $10 per person to walk around the grounds and take as many photos as you'd like. We met LaDreen, Hubert's fiance, who was very gracious and welcoming. Future plans are a mini golf course and a train for kids.

Hot Springs, Arkansas - Muffler Mr. Spock
We went on a Sunday, so the honesty gate was locked. We could have walked around the gate to get closer but would have been trespassing, so choose not to.

Lee and his son were both so nice and knowledgeable about the Muffler Men. They have three complete men, over 40 gas station signs, original McDonald's Playland items, and a plethora of other artifacts. They have lots of things planned for the future that they are currently working on. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed this.

- Douglas, Georgia - Captain Muffler Man
The Captain Muffler Man's hat did survive; it was next to the statue. Joel Baker [of American Giants] recovered the hat and was able to find the Phillip 66 logo under the paint with the anchor on it. It had been a cut-down cowboy hat.
