- Rock Springs, Wyoming - Muffler Man We saw a small muffler man high on a pole near mile marker 151 eastbound on Interstate 80 outside Rock Springs. He is wearing the standard red shirt and cowboy hat. Watch for him on the right side of the roadway. Wish we could have snapped a pic but went by too fast. [Dave, 09/28/2009]Muffler Man:
