Giant earmuff arch proposed

The inventor of Earmuffs grew up in Farmington, Maine, and residents are debating suitable ways to celebrate this unique claim to fame. Isn't their annual parade, accompanied by police cruisers festooned with giant earmuffs, enough? Apparently not. The town may build a giant earmuff arch at a downtown intersection. Chester Greenwood was 15 and bored out of his skull in 1873 Farmington when he cobbled together his "Champion ear protectors."
