Our worst fears confirmed: The World's Largest Six Pack is gone, painted over by its new owners. The Old Style Brewery in La Crosse, WI was sold by Strohs to The City Brewing Company recently. In a puzzling moment of promotional sobriety, they painted the six storage tanks white, obliterating what was arguably La Crosse's most popular tourist attraction. [11/07/1999]

- I-90 exit 3 onto US 53/Hwy 35 (La Crosse). Drive south, following US 53, for 4.5 miles. US 53 becomes 3rd St. Stay on 3rd St. The six-pack is four blocks south of the intersection of US 61/Cass St and US 14/Cameron Ave., on the east side. King Gambrinus is on the west side.
