Supreme Chaplain Thomas V. Daily, bishop of Brooklyn, delivered the blessing at the dedication of the Knights of Columbus Museum on Sunday, Sept. 24th. The museum is located at One State Street in New Haven, CT.
Construction work, installation of the specially commissioned statue of Christopher Columbus (on view at the blessing and dedication), and interior design execution are virtually complete and the formal opening of the museum to the general public will occur sometime next year.
With 1.6 million members, the Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal organization. [10/01/2000]
