On May 16th, the Warner Theatre in Washington DC joined the ever-growing list of entities with "Walks Of Fame" in front of them. According to a press release by The Kaemnfer Company, a commercial real estate developer, and owner of The Warner, "until now, nothing on the East Coast even resembles the world's most famous 'walk of fame' at Grumman's [sic] Chinese Theatre in Hollywood."
The Warner Walk of Fame is a sidewalk along 13th Street near Pennsylvania Avenue, dedicated to the many talented stars that have performed on the Warner stage since it reopened in the fall of 1992. David Copperfield launched the Walk, and signed a stone paver to be placed along the sidewalk. [05/19/2001]
