One of Miami's most eclectic museums will be moving to a new location in Titusville -- next to the Astronaut's Hall of Fame -- by 2003. The 41 year old American Police Hall of Fame and Museum moved to Miami in 1990 from longtime digs on Florida's gulf coast in Port Charlotte. The attraction has needed more space as it has expanded its collection, which includes a gas chamber, electric chair and guillotine. And museum officials planned this move partly out of concern for lack of space to list all the dead police officers properly in the Hall of Fame. Their new location among the space attractions of the Cape should also boost attendance. [01/24/2002]
