Giant Plastic Tumbler Will Decorate Tervis HQ

Tervis Tumbler, a 58-year old manufacturer of "insulated polycarbonate drinkware," is building a new headquarters factory in Venice, Florida. The front entrance of the $7 million building will feature a 2-story tall, 16-ft. wide, translucent drinking glass, designed by a Sarasota architect. Drivers will spot it from I-75, near the Laurel Road exit. Facility construction started in December 2004 and will be completed in 2005.
