Texas steer

"Texas USA" the Bull

Died 1986 - Fort Worth, Texas

This bodacious bovine was born with a white marking on his forehead in the shape of Texas. Known to many as the Sesquicentennial Bull, he was named "Official Commemorative Product" of Texas's 150th birthday celebration. A back injury tragically cut short his reign, and he was mounted by a world champion taxidermist and put on display at the Stockyard Station tourist attraction in Forth Worth.

Texas USA's frozen Sesquicentennial semen was available for sale in limited quantities.

( "Texas USA" the Bull: whereabouts unknown, Fort Worth, Texas)

JJan. 2003: According to Stockyard Station: "This bull was down in the Stockyards at one time, but not in the Stockyards Station. It has since been sold to ranchers and Stockyards Station does not know where it is at this time."
