You would enjoy visiting Madison, Minnesota which is the "LUTEFISK CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" and celebrates this with an annual lutefisk eating contest. The town's mascot is Lou T. Fisk, a codfish whose likeness is in the form of a giant Fish-on-Wheels parked on the outskirts of town. Lou is often in parades and is transported occasionally to Glenwood, Minnesota which also claims to be the lutefisk capital of the world.
