Kim Carlsberg, who operates Sedona UFO Night Vision Sky Tours, is a delight. She is a wonderful source of information about Sedona, its sky, and its high strangeness. We enjoyed a lovely and very fun evening with Kim as we looked up using her high quality night vision gear. She has a storefront now, and sells night vision gear as well as other items such as her books. A skywatch with night vision is an amazing experience and highly recommended.

It's the only known UFO shaped like a golf ball in the universe! Was a cool stop along Route 66 and felt good to see the Route 66 oddities and fun still happening. Was a pleasure to patronize and help the Ma and Pa 66 shops!

Personal!y, I think the UFO connection is all bull, but I still found the museum interesting. It was $8 entry and you can take your time reading FBI documents and looking at the exhibits. There's also a film to watch that's pretty cool. I don't think kids would like it if they don't want to read. A nice diversion, but I hope they get more exhibits as time goes on.
[Shirley Jones, 07/27/2019] - Yucca, Arizona - Area 66
The "golf ball" building at Area 66 is open as a museum. It doesn't look like it was built as a restaurant, but rather like someone tried to turn it into one at one time. The UFO museum inside is very interesting and describes the crash of a flying saucer outside Kingman in 1953 and subsequent involvement by the U.S. government. On display are FBI and White House documents, a piece of crash wreckage tested by Cal Tech (I think), and a drop-launched saucer on the top floor. There's also a fascinating film that shows some astronauts flying a "saucer" with the golf ball building in the background. I was under the impression that the golf ball has been there a long time as a proving ground building.
[Joe Kaufman, 06/07/2019] Looks like they added some fancy parking lot lights and were doing some work on the UFO-themed hotel.

At $90 per adult, night vision isn't cheap. Those Sedona UFOs had better be up there.
