Rogers, Arkansas - Daisy Airgun Museum The Daisy Airgun Museum displays one of the world's largest collections of non-powder firearms. The museum is mostly staffed by Daisy retirees.
One of the coolest parts of the museum is its anti-aircraft B.B. machine gun. It was used to train anti-aircraft gunners in W.W.II, and it shot five hundred 0.17 caliber brass B.B.'s a minute! [Thomas Phalen, 01/13/2010]

Seligman, Arizona - Roadkill Cafe Along old Route 66 in Seligman, AZ, stands the Roadkill Cafe and its roadside kitsch. There's a bar with plenty of antlers and mounted heads, and there's even a stuffed animal diorama along one wall.
Outside is an array of old west photo ops in some state of decline -- a jail where you can pose behind bars, a two-holer outhouse, and a sheriff made of old tire rims are some of the highlights. [Jay Kirby, 08/08/2009]
Tucson, Arizona - Pima Air & Space Museum An awesome array of about 300 aircraft, mock-ups of several spacecraft, and related exhibits, a must see for aviation buffs of any age. Near exit 267 off Hwy 10, at the south edge of Davis-Monthan AFB. Multiple buildings house restored aircraft -- many are WWII-era, US fighters, bombers, helicopters, even some Russian MIGs. To see it all, allow three hours and plan on walking a mile or more through several hangers and a substantial number of outdoor exhibits.
See a B-25, a B-29 like the ones that dropped the first atom bombs, a B-52 rigged to carry the X-15 rocket plane aloft, a Harrier jump-jet capable of vertical takeoffs, landings, and hovering, and see the awesome SR-71 Blackbird spy plane.
The hangars have volunteers around to answer questions; hats off to those nice folks! Join a tour or wander by yourself. [Tim Martin, 01/20/2010]
