I don't recall how I heard about it and I can no longer find any info on it. But it's there. And I saw it.

- Birmingham, Alabama - The Garage Cafe
The Garage Cafe is still doing a brisk business despite the nation's economic recession. This neighborhood cafe -- sort of a poor man's Cheers -- has a large selection of beers in the icy-water cooler, as well as some on tap. We had a nice sandwich and soup during our visit. The place is a little hard to find, unless one is very familiar with Birmingham's hilly and convoluted street system. We simply let our GPS lead us to 2304 10th Terrace South (a small one-way street.)

This unique bar/restaurant was built up under a bluff, with seating in a large cave and on top of the bluff. It's a one-of -a-kind experience, out in the country far from any big cities. There's water pouring constantly off the bluff like a fountain. The food was great and affordable, too. There was a band playing in the cave area when I was there.
Inside the saloon, there are snake skins, a mounted head of a wild boar (I believe), unique pictures, and a mounted rattlesnake positioned lunging at a rabbit with his fangs ready to strike.
They're only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and don't start serving beer until 5 pm. It's part of the Seven Springs Lodge resort. You can camp out here in your RV, or you can spend the night in one of their grain silos that have been converted to bunkhouses. They're fully equipped with furnished bedrooms, a living room, TV, microwave, and a coffee maker. They're also right next door to a swimming pool. There are stables for people to keep their horse, and plenty of trails to ride or just hike.

- Lavaca, Arkansas - Budweiser Silo
After the original owner died, his daughters ran the beer distributor business. They met artist Troy Freeman of Freesky Studios when he was painting a logo on their barn for Certified Angus Beef. Since the original paint on the silo required frequent touching up, they hired Troy in 2018 to redo the silo with a more durable paint. Troy obtained a beer can from the 1974-78 era, completely sandblasted the silo, and recreated the original to exact scale and specs.
[Marcia Oberkfell, 01/16/2021]The silo has been a giant beer can since the 1970s, when it was painted for a Budweiser commercial.

We include the Garage Cafe because of prior praise of its junk-cluttered outdoor seating area.
