- Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin - Dells Boat Tours Change for the Dells Boat Tours from the 2003 season:
For one, the single-deck boats used on the Upper Dells tour have been retired from service and were seen in the drydock (visible early on in the Upper Dells tour); there's a likelihood that such may be scrapped, in effect leaving only the double-deck excursion boats running on the Dells tours.
For another, the first Upper Dells tour now leaves in the heighth of season at 8:30am (subject to at least six visitors), with the first Lower Dells tour now leaving at 9am.
As well, both the Upper and Lower Dells now feature high-speed "jet boat" tours for those who prefer a faster tour while still enjoying the other major distractions of the area; Wild Thing Jetboats operates the Upper Dells version, while the Dells Boat Tours offers the Lower Dells jet-boat tour.
