Alliance, Nebraska - Hay Bales, Toilet and a Chair Since we were going to Carhenge, I thought it would be worth our while to hit the attraction just north of Carhenge. - Alliance, Nebraska - Hay Bales, Toilet, and a Chair I got back from a trip through Nebraska about a month ago. Just north of Carhenge is a "rest stop" that we were told by someone in the next town north that we "had to hit." It's basically a bunch of hay bales with a toilet and a green recliner, with a sign on the front that says "rest stop." There's a notebook there to record comments and suggestions. It's a very good lead in to Carhenge, about half a mile down the road. [Kim, 08/15/1999]

Alliance, Nebraska - Carhenge I went to Carhenge in the summer. If you go then, make sure to bring water and sunscreen. The replica is very accurate to Stonehenge.
I suggest bringing the whole family. They'll love it! [Barber Family, 07/30/2010]
[RA: Yes, we too have been blinded and dessicated in the awesome radiance that is Carhenge.]
