Who knows why it took so long for the World's Largest Light Bulb to snap on over our heads, but we've changed how RoadsideAmerica.com Search works (appears in the navigation bar on site pages). Before, if you selected ONLY a state and hit "Search," it would display an interminable march of tips in town-alphabetical order, sometimes for hundreds of pages. Now, when you search on a state, it will display a single-page, full list of Attractions and Oddities for that state.

iPHONE APP 1.2.1 RELEASED

In the App Store this week: a new release of the Roadside America App for iPhone. Now, current US Access users and new US Access purchasers can set up a free App account. The account allows the user to transfer US Access to a new phone or share US Access on multiple devices they own (an account is most easily set up on the original purchasing device). The new release also improves user location detection, and search bar responsiveness, addresses iOS 4 compatibility issues, and adds a "Been There" pushpin.
