This 25 ft. tall Cowboy Muffler Man is the mascot of the Cowtown Rodeo and Farmer's Market. Cowtown hosts rodeos every weekend in its 4,000-seat arena.
In 2005, freak high winds tore off the head and torso of the cowboy, but he was repaired by 2006. The statue is notable for packing a pistol in a hip holster, and wearing a stetson in a state well east of where anyone would wear one other than on Halloween or for laughs.
In the same parking lot as the cowboy, visitors will find a giant cow statue, also photo worthy.
