Muffler Man and Bessie the Cow

Field review by the editors.

Libertyville, Illinois

Lamb's Farm is a children's attraction run by a non-profit organization for people with developmental disabilities. Visible from the interstate, there's a train, a mini-golf course, various petting zoo areas, gift shop, restaurant and snack shops. Visitors can learn about farming while contributing to support the organization's programs.

The attraction overall is fairly low-key, and popular with families in the region. Of particular interest to road trippers: A fiberglass Paul Bunyan Muffler Man statue holds a menacing ax. Next to him -- in fact making him seem shorter than the average woodsman -- is Bessie the Cow, a Big Bovine statue. They are both in excellent condition.

There's also a large fiberglass milk bottle nearby.
