Roadside America started tracking this fiberglass figure in Chattanooga after a reported sighting in 1999; he has probably been on the property since the 1970s. He was an obstacle on the miniature golf course at Sir Goony Golf. Since then he's changed jobs a few times for his employer. He could be found in camouflage in the attraction's paintball area for several years, and spent long periods on his back in outside storage.

Sir Goony's Muffler Man currently stands ready as a giant NASCAR pit crew member alongside the Go-Kart race track, holding a race car tire and a large wrench.

The miniature golf course is also a worthy attraction, full of whimsical concrete sculptures from fairy tales and children's nightmares.

Address:: 5918 Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN
Directions:: E. Brainerd Rd exit off I-75 in Chattanooga. Be sure to look to your right immediately off the road for the Dragon Dreams Museum (an unconnected site). Travel approximately 2-4 miles where E. Brainerd merges with Brainerd Rd. then look on the left hand side of the road for a big fiberglass giraffe. That's the current entrance to Sir Goony Golf.
