Musher's Hall of Fame

Field review by the editors.

Knik, Alaska

Located in an old pool hall, this tribute to the men and beasts of dog mushing occupies the second floor of what is now the Knik Museum, which is one of only two buildings left in Knik, thanks to a rerouting of the road and the lessening of a need for trading posts.

Honors are bestowed here on both the mushers (people) and the dogs.
