Bust And Ashes Of The Exorcist Priest

Field review by the editors.

Scranton, Pennsylvania

Jason Miller was a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright. But he will forever be known as the tormented young priest Father Karras in the 1973 film The Exorcist. Miller lived in Scranton, and died there in 2001 when he collapsed from a heart attack on stage while rehearsing for the role of Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple.

Actor Paul "Goodfellas" Sorvino was a good friend, and spent years making a bronze bust of Miller. It was finally unveiled in late 2008. Miller was never buried, so some of his ashes were sealed within the head...which doesn't spin.
