Bronzed Foundation of Lincoln's Boyhood Home

Lincoln, Indiana

Foundation of Lincoln's Boyhood Home.

Loopiest Lincoln Landmarks.

You know that your story will live on through generations when someone goes to the trouble of bronzing the foundation of your childhood home. These crumbly ruins were uncovered in 1933, casts were quickly made, the original was crated and packed off somewhere (we hope), and now this exact metal replica belongs to the ages.

Indiana originally wanted to build a 150-foot-tall tower with a pipe organ on the site, but this is much weirder and better.
