One of (at least) two statues of The Duke in the greater LA area -- this John Wayne is in classic movie cowboy regalia, astride a horse.

The 1984 bronze by artist Harry Jackson originally stood in the plaza in front of Western Bank. When that institution relocated, the statue found itself at the entrance of the Flynt Publications Building.
