Out of the way, in the Valley, over the mountains from Hollywood, this outdoor plaza is even hidden from the street. It honors TV's greatest stars, with a 27-foot-tall gold-plated Emmy statue/fountain as its centerpiece.

Highlights include life-size bronze statues of Johnny Carson, Lucille Ball, and Jack Benny, as well as busts, carved likenesses, bronze plaques, and smaller statues of celebrities such as Walt Disney, Jackie Gleason, Bill Cosby, Jim Henson and The Muppets, Rod Serling, Mary Tyler Moore, and Walter Cronkite. New stars are added to the Hall of Fame every year, so the displays honoring them will follow.

Directions:: Outside the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Not visible from the street. Take US 101/Hollywood Fwy to exits 6 or 6B (Magnolia Blvd). Drive east a half-mile on Magnolia and then turn left onto to Lankershim Blvd. The plaza will be on the immediate right, hidden behind the Landmark Entertainment Group building.
