9/11 and Rescue Workers Memorial.

Banner of Service - 9/11 Memorial

Field review by the editors.

Spokane, Washington

Artists Hazen Audel and Robert Sevilla Naudon sculpted a large, stainless steel, flapping American flag on a deformed concrete flagpole, and superimposed blackened steel EMTs and firefighters. Unveiled in 2007, it's Spokane's tribute to the rescue workers of 9/11.

The memorial sits next to the driveway for firetrucks, which needs to be kept clear for emergency vehicle access, so don't park there.
