POW Camp: MIA Tower

Field review by the editors.

Phlox, Indiana

This is not an attraction for the public, but it fooled us when we spotted the mock North Vietnam prison camp guard tower along the road.

It appears to be a local airfield that's been transformed into a meeting place and hangout for military vets, outfitted with large signs in bold colors and a guard tower shielded with sandbags. If you're a vet, you can probably stop in and say hi.
