There's something about Roswell that allows usually-unyielding brand police to loosen up a little. Even the local Wal-Mart supercenter, which stands at the north end of town, has given its exterior some flair with artwork of a flying saucer and smiling alien head. Notable not so much for the art as for the fact that it exists at all. As long as the aliens don't turn out to be post-consumption-beings with no bargain glands, corporate America is cool with them.
