Shrine of the Holy Relics

Quietly tended by the Sisters of the Precious Blood, some 300 relics - tiny slivers of Roman Catholic Saint remains - are held in golden stands and lockets hung on chapel walls. Fourteen different Jesus relics are at the National Marian Shrine of the Holy Relics, including a crucifix nail, a thorn from His crown, and pieces of His cradle and the last supper table. The actual body of Saint Victoria (imported from Italy, we think) lays under the Sacred Heart Altar. All displayed relics, we are assured, have been authenticated at the highest level.

In addition, on the property you will find the diminutive Chapel in the Woods, which features an ornately carved scene from Hell on the altar.
