2nd Hand Shop (Gone)

We'd always been amazed that this building still stood but it survived several widenings of adjacent US 130 despite the fact that it had been abandoned for years. The giant green hand painted across its front, crude and creepy, looked like something from a pulp fiction paperback cover of the 1940s: "The Grasping Hand of Death's Deal" or something like that.

In July 2018, it was reported demolished.
