Big Catfish

Field review by the editors.

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

According to Chris Donahue, general manager of Huck Finn's Catfish, the big catfish statue out front has been there since the restaurant opened in 1995. Chris is very familiar with the catfish -- which looks to be about 15 feet long -- as he's the one who has to dress it as "Santa Fish" every December. He said that it may soon wear local sports jerseys as well.

Although the statue competes with a number of other giant creatures in touristy Pigeon Forge, the all-you-can-eat catfish restaurant is proud of its big fish, and even sells postcards of it in its gift shop.
