Texas oilman Pete Horton wanted to save his hometown -- so he restored several of its old downtown buildings and now uses several of them to showcase what he calls his "ultimate car collection." The Horton Classic Car Museum is housed in the town's former Ford dealership; the Horton Motor Co. Museum is next door in the former Chevy dealership. Horton is also erecting a new, even bigger building to display even more of his cars.

That oil provided the money to buy and display cars powered by oil seems fitting, although that "fuel cycle" aspect of the collection doesn't appear to be emphasized by Mr. Horton.
