Clyde's Ammo Clip, Bonnie's Glove
Wellington, Texas
After Clyde unintentionally crashed the gang's stolen car into a dry riverbed on June 10, 1933, the locals naturally combed the wreckage for souvenirs. Clyde was pretty thorough about taking his guns, but left behind a 20-round clip full of high velocity bullets from his assault rifle. Bonnie, who was seriously injured in the crash, left behind one of her kid leather gloves. Both relics are now prized exhibits in the nearby Collingsworth County Museum. The dried-out glove is beginning to resemble a mummified hand.
