Sidewalk Graves
San Diego, California
El Campo Santo (The Holy Field) Cemetery is on the same San Diego street as the notoriously haunted Whaley House. There's a historical marker for the cemetery, interesting tombstones (most made of wood), and then there's those poor souls trapped under the sidewalk, which a later historical marker number as twenty. You can also spot small circular bronze plaques labeled "Grave Site" in places in the cement.
