Worlds of Puppetry Museum
Atlanta, Georgia
Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie -- they're all part of the world's most complete collection of Jim Henson memorabilia. Are you a fan of Fraggle Rock? Or The Dark Crystal? Those puppets are here as well (although The Hoggle from Labyrinth is elsewhere). You can even see "Omar," Jim Henson's first puppet, which he created for an obscure TV series Sam and Friends in 1955. The museum covers 7,500 square feet and cost $14 million to build -- a high class home that would satisfy even the fussy Miss Piggy.
