American Giants Offers Muffler Man Restorations

The guys over at American Giants have become even more obsessed with Muffler Men. After their Mortons Gap Project, which involved restoration of a figure over a protracted period, they realized they'd become experts at working with fiberglass and refinishing these 1960s-era statues.

Joel Baker told us in March 2016: "American Giants has dipped into the restoration world and do muffler man restoration projects from time to time on the side." Their current project is the Lake of the Ozarks Indian. According to Joel, "We hope to have him completed and back home by the end of May. He is now the property of Iguana Group and will be set up at a new location overlooking the lake and dam upon his return."
