Boy and the Boot (outdoor)
Outdoor park is right on the main thoroughfare. The fountain has a very strong pressure flow and it almost hides The Boy. It's very beautiful at night!
[Patti Schwensen, 08/29/2021]Boy and the Boot Statue
Boy and Boot Statue is located in Sandusky Park, right by the Merry-Go-Round Museum. The whole area is so beautiful, peaceful, and historical.
[Mari, 05/12/2011]This statue, which I have never understood the significance of despite working in Sandusky for 10 years, is actually the "Boy with the Boot". The Boy in the park is a fake, the original boy is now kept behind glass in the city hall after his head was cut off twice a couple of summers ago by local delinquents! He must be kept safe! You can also buy souvenir Boy statues at most of the local gift shops, if you have any cash left over after a day at Cedar Point.
