The Neil Armstrong Air & Space Museum, Wapokoneta, OH, will open this week after a 6-month refurbishing. The museum now focuses more on the Cold War, adding displays of Russian spacesuits and a replica Sputnik satellite.

Neil Armstrong Museum The museum has been renovated -- it no longer deals with the history of flight from the Wright Brothers on, but focuses only on the Cold War, with "Armstrong's life woven in." They have added a space shuttle simulator and a trophy room. Alas, I discovered the "moon machete" was used only in training, and did not accompany Neil to the moon.
