The Neil Armstrong Air & Space Museum, Wapokoneta, OH, will open this week after a 6-month refurbishing. The museum now focuses more on the Cold War, adding displays of Russian spacesuits and a replica Sputnik satellite. [06/05/1999] Complete News Story
Wapakoneta, Ohio - Neil Armstrong Museum The museum has been renovated -- it no longer deals with the history of flight from the Wright Brothers on, but focuses only on the Cold War, with "Armstrong's life woven in."
