Buffalo Ranch - Vague Recollections I visited years ago on a school trip, had a blast and purchased a bullwhip. I played with that thing for months.
I visited again recently to find the property for sale. [Dennis Sides, 10/11/2009]
Buffalo Ranch - Vague Recollections Every Easter Monday my family had our family reunion at the Buffalo Ranch. We would spend the night in the big log house, with fireplaces that we so big you could practically stand in them (I was a kid). Walking up the big, creaking staircase, there was a huge buffalo head handing on the wall. My grandmother went for a walk around the lake and was chased by a buffalo, because she was wearing a scarf. The stagecoach rides were wonderful. I remember sitting on a hippopotamus! Those were great times, what a shame it's not there now.

Buffalo Ranch - Vague Recollections I remember many a family trip to the Buffalo ranch in the 90's. There was a small zoo located there with monkeys and other animals. The main attraction was the stagecoach ride through the field of real grazing buffalo! There was a fun gift shop and a giant wood carving of an Indian chief. Unfortunately, a fire caused the ranch to shut down many years ago and there is nothing left to see.

Buffalo Ranch - Vague Recollections Large ranch with various animals. Stagecoach ride across the property to view animals -- buffalo, zebra, etc. Big stop for elementary school field trips back in the late 70's and early 80's. Hope someone remembers it and can give some details.
